Human Trafficking expert, Laura Cusack, MSW, will provide insights into the high rates of crime, including human trafficking, experienced by people with disabilities and offer guidance on how to interact with and support victims. In Class 2 we will examine how racial trauma impacts the physical, social, and psychological health of individuals and communities. Participants will recognize systemic oppressions, confront implicit bias and engage in dialogue around racial healing, empowerment and equity. Class 2 is a Maryland Anti-Oppressive Practice training. Both classes meets the DC “Key Public Health Priorities” training criteria for DC licensees. Earn up to 6 CE Credits!
