This “CE You! Plus” all day Webinar includes two top notch trainings. Class 1 will examine how cannabis affects mental health and why people with mental health difficulties often use this drug. We will explore options for supporting cannabis users in social service and mental health settings. Class 2 looks at evidence based mental health approaches for working with immigrants suffering from trauma, depression, anxiety and PTSD. Participants learn the Psychological First Aid Approach used in crisis situations as well as the Cognitive Behavior Therapy Model and its uses in understanding this population’s responses to trauma.
