Partnering with the School: Building Children’s Resilience and Success by Training Teachers in DBT Skills Monday, February 8th 2021, 10:00 AM EST

$59.00Presenter: Nina Kaweblum, Malkey Wallerstein

Research continues to show that resilience and EQ are  better predictors of future success than IQ. In order to provide a well-rounded education geared to the future success of our children, social emotional learning programs have gained increased popularity. Including that in curriculums supports building resilience and increasing EQ. By collaborating with school personnel, being attentive to community and school culture, and using the environment children spend most of their waking hours in to generalize skills, we can increase the effectiveness and impact these programs can make.
