This One Day Seminar includes two excellent classes, a total of 6 CEUs. The cost of the full day is $99. You may attend an individual class for $59. Please note that only class 2 is an ethics training, class 1 is not. Refreshments are served throughout the day.
Class 1 – 10:00am-1:00pm (3 CEUs)
Supervision: Meeting Goals, Increasing Retention, and Improving Morale in the Helping Professions
In this three hour class participants will learn the essential skills and behaviors that can enhance the effectiveness of any supervisor in the helping professions. The necessity for active, quality supervision will be discussed, as well as the impact that it has on organization success. The essentials of achieving that success will be the core of the training. Experienced supervisors will gain new insights and will come away with tools to increase their effectiveness as a supervisor. (Trainer, Rebecca Ashery PhD, LCSW-C, Leader-Manager Coach)
Class 2 – 1:45pm-4:45pm (3 CEUs- Ethics)
The Code of Ethics and its Impact on Supervision
This three hour supervision and ethics training will review the elements of the Code of Ethics that most directly impact supervision. Participants will discuss real world examples related to workplace supervision. We will look at the Code of Ethics as a tool for improving supervisory skills and outcomes. This class will also take a look at how the code of ethics can be used as to improve staff morale. (Trainer, Rebecca Ashery PhD, LCSW-C, Leader-Manager Coach)
