This stand alone 3 hour training consists of a recap of the many of the principles taught in the 2 day “Supervision and Leadership, Management Seminar”. This training was designed to help current supervisors meet the new Maryland 3 hour training requirement for license renewal. It is also a great way for seasoned supervisors and managers to improve their leadership and management skills. Participants earn a total of 3 Category I CEUs. The cost of this training is $59.
Participants to this interactive training will look at effective methods of supervision and management. This class will provide an overview of the basic skills and resources necessary for effective general supervision.
We will examine the role, function, and characteristics of an effective supervisor. Attendees will take a look at the best identified management practices. We will explore the supervisor’s role as leader and as negotiator between senior management and direct staff. Participants will come to understand what traits and skills are necessary for effective management, Supervision, and leadership.
