We’ll examine effective communication, the importance of supportive organizational environments, and ways to build mission-centered culture. Participants will also enjoy a working overview of interdisciplinary and agency collaboration, and the vital impact of leadership on direct service.

Bonnie Lumagui, a native New Yorker has been employed at the Educational Alliance since May 2000. In her current position as Director of Co-op Village NORC, she works with a diverse older adult population to address an array of aging issues. Prior to her current position she directed the Educational Alliance Whittaker Senior Center and has also worked in several positions within Older Adult Services in an administrative capacity and in direct work with clients.

Her commitment and compassion to the seniors and the field of aging is evident by the many successful programs she has helped to develop. She is also a staunch advocate for older adult services to be increased and maintained.
