A “CE You! Plus” Friday Full Day Webinar! Class 1 explores how to stay grounded and compassionate when political or moral divides strain relationships. Through video clips, discussion, and insights from therapist Bill Doherty, participants will learn to work with their own and their clients’ “inner polarizer” while maintaining connection across differences. Class 2 introduces a trauma-informed approach to betrayal trauma, focusing on partners affected by infidelity and out-of-control sexual behaviors and interventions that support healing and rebuilding trust. Participants will explore how trauma impacts the brain, body, and memory, while learning core principles, stages of recovery, and effective interventions to support client healing. Dr. Tim Victorella presents a practical framework for suicide prevention that connects public health data with clinical care. Class 1 presents a culturally informed approach to sex therapy that helps clients explore meaning, integrate cultural context, and build empowering sexual narratives beyond symptom-focused treatment. Class 2 provides an overview of evidence-based Behavioral Parent Training approaches for treating disruptive behavior disorders in children. Participants will learn core components of models such as PCIT and PMT, along with practical strategies to improve parent-child interactions and reduce externalizing behaviors. Founded in 2010, CE You! has grown to become one of the top providers of Social Work and Mental Health Continuing Education in the Maryland and DC area. Our goal is to provide high quality trainings in a friendly atmosphere at a reasonable cost. At CE You! We believe that Continuing Ed. classes should be enjoyable and leave you feeling refreshed, more knowledgeable and ready to tackle your toughest cases.
During the coming year we are looking to expand our training in the New York area. We are also continuing the process of becoming certified to offer continuing education for mental health counselors in NY and for social workers in New Jersey as well. So, stay posted!
