A “CE You! Plus” Friday Webinar! On average, it takes a person with OCD 14-17 years from the onset of symptoms to get a proper diagnosis and effective treatment. In this class you will learn how to correctly diagnose Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, educate clients about it, give them hope, elicit motivation, and provide effective treatment. A “CE You! Plus” Sunday Full Day Ethics Webinar! Class 1 provides education on ethics with use of the Code of Ethics as a guideline. Participants will be empowered to take a step back, identify their driving force in making decisions and “Do the right thing!” Class 2, led by Tonya Logan, invites participants into a candid exploration of therapist self-disclosure, using personal storytelling and real-life examples to help reframe challenging client questions as opportunities for connection, growth, and trust-building. Both classes meet ETHICS requirements and the DC “Key Public Health Priorities” criteria. Earn up to 6 Ethics CE Credits!


A “CE You! Plus” All Day Webinar! This NEW full day training includes two excellent classes. Begin the day with “Helping Couples through Infidelity”, with couples counselor and domestic violence interventionist, Raffi Bilek. In the afternoon session, “Navigating The Challenging Road of Ethical Dilemmas in Mental Health”, Alesha Perkins will take you on a personal journey to do the right thing. Plus” Full Day Sunday Webinar will enhance your proficiency in using the DSM-5-TR for diagnosing Schizophrenia Spectrum, Depressive Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Bipolar, and related disorders. Can two wrongs ever make a right? Spend an evening with Social Psychologist and Neuroscientist David Chester, PhD as he shares his original research and fascinating insights surrounding the mechanism of Revenge! Participants will enjoy Dr. Chester’s perspectives around identifying the temporary “sweetness” of revenge and the corresponding physiological response. We’ll also study the worsening mid and long term effects on the revenge seeker’s emotional state, as well as evidence and neuroscience -based interventions geared to promote helpful coping strategies and positive outcomes for individuals who feel “wronged”.
