A “CE You! Plus” Friday All Day Webinar! Class 1 explores the growing prevalence of non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) among youth and provides trauma-informed strategies for supporting students, including effective interview techniques and safety planning interventions. Class 2 offers culturally humble strategies to address unique mental health challenges faced by Black women, fostering self-awareness and responsive care. Class 1 focuses on building a strong therapeutic alliance from the first session, offering practical skills for joining with clients, conducting strengths-based assessments, and navigating early clinical challenges with clarity and care. Class 2 explores the concept of coercive control, describes common law enforcement involvement and provides clinicians with a framework for supporting clients who are experiencing this phenomenon. Class 3 explores OCD and ERP fundamentals while helping clinicians strengthen case conceptualization and individualized treatment planning. A “CE You! Plus” Full Day Webinar! This full day of training features 2 excellent classes. Class one is an ETHICS training that looks at addressing and preventing microaggressions in the therapy room. Class two examines the alarming increase in youth suicide rates in recent years among Hispanic, Black, Asian and Pacific Islander youth as well as the elevated risk of suicide among 2SLGBTQIA+ youth. Founded in 2010, CE You! has grown to become one of the top providers of Social Work and Mental Health Continuing Education in the Maryland and DC area. Our goal is to provide high quality trainings in a friendly atmosphere at a reasonable cost. At CE You! We believe that Continuing Ed. classes should be enjoyable and leave you feeling refreshed, more knowledgeable and ready to tackle your toughest cases.
During the coming year we are looking to expand our training in the New York area. We are also continuing the process of becoming certified to offer continuing education for mental health counselors in NY and for social workers in New Jersey as well. So, stay posted!
