While a diagnosis can be associated with the domestic violence, often the clinical focus may be on the diagnosis at the expense of dealing with the violence. This excellent new training focuses on the Good Lives Model. GLM has become a popular approach to the treatment of people who sexually abuse. This six-hour workshop focuses on how programs and therapists can best integrate the GLM into treatment with persons who have sexually abused. Trainer, David Prescott, nationally recognized expert and author, is the Editor of Safer Society Press. A “CE You! Plus” Previously Recorded Webinar! This class provides an overview of the evaluation of incidentally detected pulmonary nodules. Although pulmonary nodules are quite common, they are often presumed to be malignant, despite the fact that most are benign. An unwarranted assumption of malignancy can lead to unnecessary diagnostic procedures and may induce undue fear and anxiety in patients. This class will review radiographic findings typically associated with incidentally detected pulmonary nodules and will outline a stepwise approach to appropriate diagnostic testing based on these findings, ultimately guiding toward an accurate diagnosis and, if needed, referral to a specialist for treatment. Case examples will also be presented. Earn 1.5 CME/CE Credits!

This is particularly concerning for women who are pregnant or considering pregnancy, as low iron levels can lead to poorer maternal outcomes and developmental challenges in children. Despite the ease of diagnostic testing and availability of effective treatments, routine screening and management are often overlooked. Using insights from medical literature, this presentation empowers clinicians—as well as patients and families—to understand the impact of iron deficiency and advocate for improved care. Founded in 2010, CE You! has grown to become one of the top providers of Social Work and Mental Health Continuing Education in the Maryland and DC area. Our goal is to provide high quality trainings in a friendly atmosphere at a reasonable cost. At CE You! We believe that Continuing Ed. classes should be enjoyable and leave you feeling refreshed, more knowledgeable and ready to tackle your toughest cases.
During the coming year we are looking to expand our training in the New York area. We are also continuing the process of becoming certified to offer continuing education for mental health counselors in NY and for social workers in New Jersey as well. So, stay posted!
